FAE - Faeries and Enchantment Magazine
FAE Magazine A magazine for faery lovers in the UK, Europe and beyond!
What can I say? As a lover of folklore and all things faery, I have been a huge fan of FAE magazine pretty much since it began! It's a faery sized magazine full of fantastic faery fashion, folklore, meditations, interviews, reviews and art.
In 2010 I was approached by FAE's Founder, Editor in Chief and all round faery star, Karen Kay, to write a piece exclusively for the autumn edition. I chose to write about a little known faery, the Sølvmora or Silver Mother, who lives in the mountains of Scandinavia. As a guardian of silver in its natural state and as refined jewellery, working with the Sølvmora honours and blesses the silver jewellery in your collection. This article has proved a hit and I'm still getting great feedback from readers, which is wonderful!
For 2011 I will be writing for FAE on a regular basis and I am absolutely thrilled with the opportunity! The faeries and I have some great ideas for unusual and inspiring articles to assist us in connecting more deeply with the faery realms and bringing a little more of their magic into our lives.
FAE is published four times a year around the Celtic/Faery Fire Festivals of Imbolc, Beltane, Lammas and Samhain. It's stocked in over two thousand stores worldwide and is now available from selected WHSmiths, or you can subscribe direct at www.faemagazine.com and have it delivered to your door.
